Cozy Layers

Layering is a must when it comes to Southern winters. The morning starts out freezing, but as the day goes on, it gets warmer and warmer. Rather than completely changing my outfit by lunchtime, I tend to go for layers. Lots of them in the morning, and fewer and fewer as the day goes on.

I tend to lean more towards basics in the winter time so that as the layers disappear throughout the day, the look doesn't lose it's appeal.

This dusty blue tank paired with the chunky, mauve cardigan is my kind of color combo. Not too bold, but there still is some color going on.

Paired with a thick gray scarf, gray hat, and gray boots to keep the look cohesive, this is layering at it's simplest.
