When the summer heat gets difficult to beat, white will keep you from suffering heat stroke. I almost had a great little rap going there, didn't I? Almost.

I've been really into white on white lately and with the ridiculous Louisiana temperatures this summer, it's a good thing. Just in case you didn't know, the darker the fabric, the more sun you attract to yourself, the hotter you get. I paired this sheer, white top with white, denim shorts that are my favorite fit since they aren't super short. I like a nice pop of color somewhere in the look, so I went for these fabulous, bright blue tassel earrings and my favorite wedges with a patterned heal and woven straw straps.
