The last few years of my life have been nothing short of a roller coaster ride. I've struggled with things that I've never thought I'd have to deal with. I've managed to lay a path down for the career that I will, hopefully, pursue full time in the future. I've done my best to face the obstacles that life has thrown my way head on and find ways to build myself up and create a stronger foundation for my life and the people in it. I cannot say that things are ever going to be easy once I make it through this extremely difficult time in my life, but I can say that the Lord will continue to stand with me and strengthen me for whatever new battles I may encounter. My hope is that anyone reading this and struggling with their own hardships finds their inner strength just as I have and knows that no matter what, you will get through it. There will be a time when you look back on this journey and realize that you are a stronger, more well-rounded, self-assured individual than you were before the storm hit you. When the waters calm and the sun comes out, you will be a better person for all you've been through, and you'll have the scars to prove it. God does not give us anything we cannot handle. We are soldiers. Every one of us.
