America

It's been so rainy and dreary around here lately. You know what that means, don't you?
Netflix. All day.
After a couple days of catching up on Grey's Anatomy and some apartment cleaning, the sun has finally shown its beautiful face...well no. The sun doesn't have a face. You knew that. I'm rambling...cue the outfit!

After getting dressed, I emerged from my bedroom to head out the door with boytoy and his words exactly, "You look cute and all, but are you really wearing an American flag when it's not the 4th of July?" "Yes. Yes, I am." Who says patriotism is only for Independence Day? No one. Ever.
Well, not me at least. So here you go, folks. America.

I like that the scarf is a little faded and aged. It came that way, but it looks like it's just been around for a while. I dig it.

This long sleeved cream top is a nice backdrop for the star of the show (scarf, duh).

I really Really REALLY love this jacket, too! The body is made of a gray cotton canvas-like material while the sleeves contrast in a black faux leather. The drawstring waist makes it super figure flattering even when it's unzipped, obvi.

My dark denim skinnies and black over-the-knee boots joined the party, as usual, and I must say, they had a blast.

I hope you're wearing fabulous things that you love, regardless of the time of year or season appropriate-ness. Probably not a word. No biggie.
