Lady Reviews: Dr. Song Teeth Whitening Kit

I've been wanting to try out a new teeth whitening system for some time now, so I was super excited when I received this one from Dr. Song. I'm satisfied with the color of my teeth as is, but I'm a self-proclaimed coffee addict. With coffee, comes possible teeth stainage...stainage is not a word, but you know, whatever. Anyway, Dr. Song Home Professional Teeth Whitening Kit comes with 8 gel syringes, 1 applicator brush, 2 trays (1 for top teeth, 1 for bottom teeth, and 1 LED light.

The directions on how to use the kit properly are emailed to the customer upon ordering from Amazon. I think this should be changed and included with the actual kit upon arrival. Just a thought.
I feel like the brush should be a little larger. This would make applying the gel simpler, in my opinion. Instead of using the brush included, I use a q-tip to apply the gel directly to my teeth, avoiding my gums to the best of my ability.
I don't quite like the trays that the kit comes with simply because they are too big for my mouth. Instead of using said trays, I cut a piece of plastic wrap (the food storage kind) to cover my teeth while I keep the gel on. This hasn't been a fool proof method either, but it's better than keeping those big trays in my mouth and drooling everywhere. Pretty mental image huh?!
The light is cool, but not completely necessary for every use. It speeds up the process if that's what you are looking to do, so it is really nice to have.
I use the kit 1-2 times a week just to keep up the current color of my teeth. I don't need to use it any more than that to do so, but if you're looking to really change the color of your teeth, you can easily do that by increasing the number of times you use it weekly. FYI, I do have sensitive teeth, which is another reason I use the product sparingly, but I did get an email about a product to reduce sensitivity, so if your teeth are super sensitive, that may be a great option for you.
Overall, I really like the actual product. I think, with some simple improvements in the application, it would be an awesome kit! It's an awesome value for only about $30, since professional teeth whitening at a dentist office can cost hundreds of dollars. I'm so thankful to have been able to test this out.

DISCLAIMER: THIS KIT WAS SENT TO ME FOR REVIEW COURTESY OF DR. SONG AND TOMOSON. ALL OPINIONS ARE MY OWN.

Pearly whites, caffeine addicts, and pretty smiles,
