It's no secret that I love a great maxi skirt. What is a secret, however, is that I've always been a little too self conscious to rock the crop top in it's true, midriff baring form. Hey, I didn't say it was a super juicy/interesting secret. I'm working on letting that insecurity go, though (ignore the rhyme), and trying to let loose a little.
The key to rocking the crop top and not wanting to hide behind every corner while in public is to not go ALL OUT the first go round. A sliver of skin is enough to pique the fashion interest here. It's not quite daring, but not super uptight either. Simple and chic.
For this look, I wore my maxi high on my waist to achieve that little "sliver" look I'm talking about.
My usual bag and sandals were sort of my security blanket for my first crop top adventure.
If you haven't noticed, I'm a little obsessed with the layered jewelry look, so...ya know: layered jewelry. Yeah. #imsosmart
Of course, my favorite accessory of all is my BFF, Jack<3
