Happy Monday, readers! Today, I'm bringing you a post that's very near and dear to my heart! I'm featuring a boutique adventure that my college friend, Jamie Rogers, recently embarked on and I could not be more proud of her! J'aime Boutique is located in Bayou Vista, LA, and it is THE place to go for all of your inner flower child's desires! Everything about this adorable little shop screams boho chic!
First up, a mini tour of the shop...
Love the hat, hate the ribbon? No worries! Jamie has no problem customizing her adorable pieces to get the exact look you're going for! I, personally, need these hats in every color...just saying.
All the gorgeous jewelry you could ever want can be found here, too! Love everything!
Jamie is one of the most creatively talented people I know. She's carried that talent into every corner of her shop. I can't get enough of her vintage shop details like this little corner with adorable old suitcases and handmade cushions to boot!
Tell me this is not the most amazing shoe display you've ever laid eyes on!
Alright now, on to the mini photo shoot I did with all these pretty ladies!
Jamie (store owner) is so cute in this bird printed top and good ole fashion jean shorts.
Sidenote: Anyone else obsessed with her mermaid hair?
Sarah is rocking this loose-fitting top with crochet neckline and sleeves. I paired it with her fabulous cowgirl boots to show off her country style and this gorgeous purple drusy tassel necklace for a pop of color.
Krista is wearing this comfy tan dress layered under a fab crochet vest in cream. To add detail to her simple look, I topped it off with this adorable hat. (Jamie switched out the brown ribbon that originally came on the hat for some rustic twine that added the perfect, unique touch.)
I put Daryan in this cute little chambray romper that we are both swooning over! It's lightweight and breezy which is perfect for the end of summer! A printed, fringed kimono added some interest to the solid romper, and the hat...I just can't get enough of these hats, so there's that.
Lastly, I'm wearing these comfy, stretch skinny jeans in a medium wash paired with this blousy beige top (that I purchased because you know me and blousy beige tops...whatev). I added a peach colored bandeau underneath to hide the goods and a peach stoned tassel necklace for some glam. And a hat...again.
I want to thank Jamie and all these pretty girls for having me in the shop and letting me play dress up with them! We had so much fun and I cannot wait to do it again!<3

What a fun post! Opening a boutique would be so much fun, but also so much work. Good luck to your friend. It looks super cute!ReplyDelete
