I love trying new products out and these are no exception! I am so happy to have had the chance to try out these two that were sent to me from Body Merry.

Body Merry Cellulite Defense Gel-Cream

My thoughts:
When I first received the product, my initial thought was that it's definitely lighter (in weight) than I thought it would be. I thought maybe the product was going to be significantly smaller than it actually was/is. The light weight is due to the light consistency of the gel, which I think is pretty awesome. If you're not a fan of thick creams because of the length of time it takes the product to soak into the skin, this could be a great option for you in that regard. It is definitely more of a gel than a cream.
What I noticed first upon removing the cap was the scent. It's not a bad scent at all, in my opinion, just very strong. I don't have an issue with strong scents. It sort of smells like Icy Hot Cream, if you've ever caught a whiff of that. (I may be weird, but I like the smell.)
I use this product only on the top half of my thighs since this is where I think my body has the most jiggle. Haha! I don't have obvious cellulite, so my hope for this product was in the area of "firming".
Immediately after applying this product, I feel a strong cooling sensation with a slight tingle. Warning: when I say strong, I mean STRONG. I like it, but if you don't like that feeling, you will not like the application of this product.
I haven't noticed any long term differences after using this product for a few weeks, but I feel like for a temporary fix, it's a nice product to have. Come shorts season, I think I will be using this more often.

My thoughts:
First, I love how much product this in this container (1 fl. oz.)! Normally, an eye cream will only be offered in tiny containers with very little product. I also like that this one has a pump, although I wish it dispensed a little less product with one pump since you don't need much to cover your eye area.
As far as performance goes, I think this cream is great for moisturizing. I don't have terribly dry or oily skin under my eyes, so this product works perfectly to keep my undereyes moisturized, but not too slick.
I do have puffiness and dark circles, especially when I am sleep deprived which I have been the last few days. I don't find that the product does much for my circles (I would need a miracle product for that), but I do think that it depuffs my bags a little, so that's nice.
Overall, I think this is a nice product. Not anything crazy new and innovative, but it gets the job done if the job isn't too big. I'd suggest it to those starting out with eye creams, who don't need any miracles quite yet.
