If there's one thing I love about cooler weather, it's layering. I don't think there's much rhyme or reason, or any method to my madness when it comes to layering. <too many alliterations? I don't hate it.
My favorite part of this look is the slip I layered underneath this basic gray tank. I love that it adds a little extra pizazz to something as plain as this. It also adds a little length to the top half of my outfit, making it easier to pull of the leggings.
For another layer, I threw my favorite chambray shirt as a light jacket, and tied in my tan boots with this orange, yellow, and tan printed scarf. This also brought some color to my head-to-toe neutral look.
These over-the-knee socks add even more to the layered look and I am LOVING it!
To sum things up, you can't go wrong with basic black leggings as a starting point. From there, just be sure to keep the color scheme cohesive and layer it up, ladies!
