This may or may not be my last "shorts post" for the year! Temperatures are starting to drop and I'm feeling bittersweet about it. I'm all for Fall fashion, but I'm a summer girl at heart...anyway I digress.
I paired a black cami with these destroyed denim shorts for a simple look that wouldn't distract from the perfect flannel I tied around my waist 90's style.
As a child of the 90's, I do remember rocking the tied sweatshirt around the waist look, but as a 7 year-old, it was more to get it out of the way than to look cool. Obviously, I'm leaning toward the latter reason as a 24 year-old.
I paired this nostalgic look with a solid black scarf and these mock Birkenstock sandals for an added 90's feel.
Dark lips and nails topped the outfit off perfectly.
& if you're not into wearing your flannel around your waist, you can always go for that old-fashioned look...you know, wearing it as a, well, shirt...still cute!(:
