Lounging Around

What to wear on days when you're just hanging around the house or running out to the grocery store but you don't want to look like you just rolled out of bed (even if you did)? Here's something that's both comfy and cute! Knit pants were all over the runways for fall fashion week and I found my perfect pair a couple weeks ago when I went home for a visit!

Throw these bad boys on with a cardigan and some boots and you're good to go for a lazy day or for a quick ice cream run!

I know it's so cliche, but I lived in my Uggs last year and I have a feeling they won't be straying far from my feet this year. They are so comfy and warm during those fall and winter months!

Minimal jewelry is obvious for a day of relaxation, so I'm just wearing my delicate Louisiana necklace.

Legging Love

What girl doesn't love a great pair of leggings?! These thick, compression leggings make my legs look super toned, even if they're not! The fabric is super thick and tight which is why they tuck everything in and make it all stay put. I love the blue color of these. They're still toned down so they can be worn with other colors but at the same time, they aren't your basic black. I'm not dissing basic black..we all know I love a great black outfit.

I paired these legging beasts with a long cream colored cami and a pretty blush colored cardigan.

I threw on this pretty printed scarf for some interest since the rest of the look is quite solid.

I've had these tan oxford shoes for years and I still wear them often. I think they add a little preppy tone to the look but they aren't preppy overkill.

Cool and Casual

If I could live in this potato sack of a dress, I absolutely would. It is the most comfortable thing in my closet! & boy do I love comfort! I mean...don't get me wrong, I'm all for suffering in the name of fashion, but when I can accessorize a plain, comfy dress & still pull off an adorable outfit, it's like hitting the jackpot! Well, maybe not exactly like that, but you get what I'm saying.

I accessorized my plain Jane dress with this colorful plaid scarf and it was an instant fashion boost! I love the red against the tan fabric of the dress! It really makes the look more styled.

I surprised myself when I chose these boots. I wouldn't normally choose tan boots with a [different shade of] tan dress, but I like how it turned out! It looks thrown together in that "I didn't even have to try to look this cute" way. I like that there is only a small portion of the leg showing too. It leaves a lot to the imagination.

I'd also like to consider my high ponytail an accessory when it comes to this look. I think it adds to the "I'm not trying" vibe and I love it!
